I dont know if its the new update but I cant even open the application. Please fix it. I just registered to your online course and would enjoy using this app.

Crashing app

Crashing all the times

Not good

Its hard to understand as well as flash cards/review doesnt work.

Great app for language learning

This app is a fantastic tool for language learning. It allows to build up your vobabulary and your comprehension through reading and listening to all kinds of texts.

Unreliable

This is good tool to learn a new language but the app and the website are disaster. They are both unreliable and have so many glitches. All my lessons are gone!

Not very satisfying

I downloaded this app because the internet version wouldnt let me edit writing for exchange requests on my phone. But the app doesnt even have the exchange. It also doesnt have cloze tests, which are my favourite way of learning vocabulary, or multiple choice tests. In the lessons, I had a problem as well - there seemed to be no way to mark a word as known. I am very disappointed and will be deleting this app.

Needs work

The first time I used this app it was fine. The second time, I couldnt even tell if it was open. Deleted. There are enough fine language-learning apps out there that you dont have to put up with sub-standard products.

Each new version is buggier than the previoys

Quality control on this apllication seems non-existant. The software developers should get some training in quality control!!! I am scared to do updates, for fear that that each new verdion breaks things that used to work. Too bad, because the concept is great!

Ok when online

App is great supplement to the web courses. However, after previous update app wont load any courses.

Very buggy and unusable

I love LingQ and the method they use! I use the website all the time to learn German. But their mobile app is not very good: - words in flashcards get cut off so you cant read them. - The app logs you out every few days or weeks. - the latest update doesnt load any of my courses at all! - if you click the "listen" button in flashcards mode, you sometimes accidentally reveal the answer. The button is too small. - The app is very slow to load. Interacting with words doesnt refresh very quickly.

Optional romanization please

This is a useful tool, but putting in romanized versions of words underneath Asian characters on the flash cards was an awful idea. Please at least add a way to turn them off. Its basically like having the answer in plain view the moment the flashcard shows up. I literally have to try and cover up that part of the screen with my hand if I want to learn anything.

Mr

Great program for learning languages. Its helpful and you can learn French, German, Russian, and Japanese to name a few. Highly recommended!

Great app for learning Italian

Ive been using this app for the last few months and its awesome! Ive learned a ton of Italian. Syncs up my lessons from my phone to my iPad to the web and its always with me. Grazie LingQ!

the best system Ive used

Le wow! Ive used many different systems and websites--all very helpful--and am now an intermediate/advanced student of french. This system is perfect for language acquisition, especially the links: words that we are learning that are highlighted in any lesson, so that we can see them again not just as an isolated word but in multiple contexts. This and the combination of text plus audio is unbeatable. Repeated listening and reading is the key to language acquisition. Add to that the act of actually speaking the language (I havent tried their learning communities yet) and you have everything you need. Learning a language takes time and effort. I can now converse with a francophone for hours but am continuing to learn and am just beginning Spanish with this app. Highly recommend.

Problems w/ language switch on iPhone

I have no idea how to switch languages on this iPhone app. I was learning Japanese on my PC now I am only w/ an iPhone and in Italy. I wish there was an option on the app that would easily switch to different languages on the iPhone itself w/o having to go to a PC. Oh well. In time I expect linq to get up to speed w/ this. Thanks on advance. Ciao.

worked well.

ちゃんと動きました。カードも使えた。ダウンロードしなくても音声が聞けるのが便利。また使ってみて報告します。 Im using ipod touch 4th, and I can switch the language I want to learn by returning the "setting".

Is it possible to LingQ new words by this app?

I cant find how to LingQ new words on this app. Should I do via PC?

Quite good

I enjoy several topics so far. It is good that we can uproad original contents to Lingq.

The most valuable app Ive ever seen.

I love this App. This App and the LingQ system has made me more fluent in English. There are lots of bugs in this App, and those make me annoyed and tired, but this is the best App for me. Thank you.
